1 Journal

Writing your thoughts into a journal organizes your thoughts. Successful people are focused. What better way is there to stay focused than to write your goals and dreams into your journal every day?

Find a pretty and functional journal that makes you want to use it. An empty journal that collects dust doesn’t do anyone any good.

2 Writing Down Goals

Writing down your goals and dreams every single day makes them happen faster. Guess where you can write those goals? In your Journal. The act of writing, not typing gets into your brain and it creates a map to achieving your success.

If you can’t write your goals on paper, definitely use a digital journal. I’m not saying you can’t use a digital journal. If it’s digital or not at all, definitely go digital.

3 Daily Routines

A daily routine is something you do every damn day for success. I have a morning routine and a night time routine that I have been following for years. We all have routines, but we can tweak those routines to be more productive and add to our success.

When you first start out creating your routine write it down. Follow your instructions until they become a part of you.

My Morning Routine consists of my beauty regime, making breakfast, and meal prepping for the day. This sets me up for success. I like to take good care of my body and look presentable. If I prep my meals ahead of time I don’t get distracted and not eat or worse yet, eat the wrong kids of food for me.

2019 is your year to create the habits of successful people.

4 Healthy Habits

What good is being successful if you don’t have your health? Who wants to work their ass off only to die and somebody else gets to enjoy your wealth? Not this girl, I can tell you that. Taking good care of yourself with healthy habits is so important.

When you are young, you feel like you can live forever. You may do unhealthy things that you don’t think will matter. But they do. What you do today determines the quality of life you will have tomorrow.

Some healthy habits include:

  • Taking care of your skin
  • Taking care of your teeth, brush floss and see a reputable dentist regularly
  • Eating clean and meal prepping
  • Drinking water
  • Exercising

Half of my life revolves around food. I’m always buying it, cleaning it, assembling it and cooking it. When I keep my focus on food I feel so much better which makes me happier and more successful.

It takes 21 days to form a habit, start incorporating your healthy habits one at a time and after 21 days you will be addicted to your healthy habit.

5 Being Teachable – Always Learning

Just because you are not in school (or maybe you are) doesn’t mean that you can stop learning. You don’t know it all and you never will, isn’t that fantastic? How boring life would be if we couldn’t learn anything new.

You can learn so many things, there are so many courses and books that you can read to learn anything! Our brains need exercise too, not just our bodies. Instead of aging and getting forgetful our brains can learn new information and expand. Practice and get even better at learning.

6 Plan For the Future

One of the most overlooked habits of successful people is planning for the future. Society has trained us to just live for today. Tomorrow will be here before you know it. Money should be saved, bodies should be taken care of, brains should be exercised.

When you plan for your future, your future can be some of your best days. I don’t want to reach the end of my time here on earth and be suffering. The more you plan and chip away at accomplishing things each day, the more secure your future will become.

7 Don’t Give Up!

This success habit is probably the most important one of them all! Successful people don’t give up. They don’t succeed right away but they don’t let anything stop them.
